As you may have already read, Superior Steam Cleaners is a family owned and operated company. We have been cleaning Carpet, Upholstery and Tile Grout cleaning in Baltimore, Maryland since 1992.

Randy Pierce (pictured on the left) started Superior Steam Cleaners on his own in early 1992. He knew from experience that carpet cleaning companies had a bad rap and mostly deserving so. So he set out to create a company that would defy everything that people thought carpet cleaning companies were about.
He began by seeking training in the services he wanted to provide to his clients. After some research he found the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. (IICRC)
Which is now known as The Clean Trust.
Through the years he has become certified in many areas: Carpet Cleaning and Advanced Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning and Advanced Upholstery Cleaning services, Tile Grout Cleaning Service, Odor Control, Smoke and Fire Restorations, Water Damage Restoration, Carpet Repair and Reinstallation, and Carpet Color Repair. These certifications are received by attending classes and completion of written exams. He has also recently achieved The Clean Trust (formerly IICRC) approved instructor status. He is an approved instructor for Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, and Odor Control.
In 2004 Shaun Pierce (Randy's Son and pictured on the right) joined the Superior Steam Cleaners Team. Shaun graduated from Long Reach High School in 2004 and began working full time. He also began to become certified through the IICRC in Carpet Cleaning and Advanced Carpet Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning and Advanced Upholstery Cleaning, Tile Grout Cleaning Service, Odor Control, Smoke and Fire Restorations, Water Damage Restoration, Carpet Repair and Reinstallation. Both Randy and Shaun are Certified Master Cleaners and Randy is a Certified Master Water Restorer as well.
Both Randy and Shaun receive help from other members of their family as well. Randy's wife Brenda works full time as well as takes care of the book keeping for Superior Steam Cleaners. They have been married for over 20 years and have enjoyed serving the Baltimore, Maryland clientele that put their trust in the company everyday.
Shaun was married in 2008 to Morgan. They now have 2 children together and are settling into their own home. They work closely together to find ways to make the company better for repeat and future clients. Morgan has began taking care of invoicing as well as website maintenance. Both look forward to providing great service for many, many years to come.

Superior Steam Cleaners has been sought out by the major carpet manufactures, Dupont, Solutia, Monsanno, to provide service for their warranty customers. Providing service for the manufacturers requires expertise that most carpet cleaning companies cannot provide.
